Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique lashed out at a journalist in a statement to 'Canal+ France' and replied: “I have no intention of explaining our tactics to you because you wouldn't understand them”.
The Spanish coach expressed himself in this way after his team lost 2-0 against Arsenal in the second matchday of the Champions League.
“I have no intention of explaining the tactics because surely you wouldn't understand. We have to try to correct a lot of things as a team, but I'm not going to explain anything,” the coach said on French television.
Speaking to 'Amazon Prime', Luis Enrique added that they did not compete “at the level they needed to be for the match” and that Arsenal defended very well and deserved the win.
“I know the intensity of their team, how they play on and off the ball and that they play at a great level. There is no doubt that they are a great team and we know the standard they set. We have to accept that we lost all the duels with Arsenal and if you don't win those duels, you suffer,” he closed.
