"I hope one day Griezmann will join Los Angeles FC"
Carlos Vela has taken it upon himself to formally invite Antoine Griezmann to the United States. The two share a friendship and the Mexican knows how much the ‘Little Prince’ would love to try his luck in the MLS one day, so he would be delighted to share a dressing room with him at Los Angeles FC.

Mexico's Carlos Vela, unveiled as a new Los Angeles FC player on Wednesday, expressed the hope that one day his French friend Antoine Griezmann, who plays for Atletico Madrid, would sign for the Los Angeles club and stressed that the striker likes the American way of life.
"Whether I play with him or not, we will always have a good relationship, that's the good thing about football. I hope that one day he comes here, that he can be part of this league and this club," said Vela, who returned to LAFC after leaving the club last December and taking a few months off away from football.
"He really likes this lifestyle, he loves American sports," he added.
Vela has agreed a deal for the remainder of the season in 2024 with a further option for 2025. Regarded as one of the best players in MLS history, he is LAFC's all-time leader in terms of games played (152), minutes (11,194), goals (78) and assists (59).
