Messi">Leo Messi's situation in Paris is one of the things most people are talking about, together with the Champions League semi-finals, of course. The Argentine was back in training with PSG after the club punished him for his trip to Saudi Arabia.
Ex-Real Madrid man Claude Makelele spoke to the press in Paris at the Laureus Awards ceremony and was asked about the Qatar World Champion. The French ex-player said that the Parisian club's reaction disappointed him.
"Honestly, PSG's reaction disappointed me a bit, but not just with Messi, but with other big names in the side. The club as well as Ligue 1 need top level players to keep growing, and I hope that PSG know how to react in time to keep Messi", he said.
He then spoke about his ex-side's game: "If I had to bet, I'd say City have a 51% chance while Madrid have 49%. Real Madrid are a side which are used to winning, but City now have a top striker, which they didn't have in previous seasons. City have more experience and football than last year".
