Mohamed Salah will be on everyone's lips during the upcoming summer transfer window. The Egyptian striker has a contract at Liverpool until 2025, but the recent poor run of form at Anfield could make him have a rethink.
Porto's legendary Algerian striker Rabah Madjer spoke about the Reds' number 11's future to 'Al Ain Sports': "Salah is a wonderful footballer and a source of pride for all Arabs. I hope to see him at one of the Spanish greats. Playing at Barca or Madrid would give a new boost to his career".
What's more, the Algerian gave his view on who he thinks will win the Champions League, the competition which Liverpool aren't in: "I think Man City are one of the strongest and I think they're the main favourites, but you can't forget about Madrid. It's historical, but they always compete really well in this tournament an they'll always got a chance".
Mohamed Salah is living history on Merseyside - he's his side's record Premier League goalscorer, ahead of Robbie Fowler and Steven Gerrard. However, that doesn't seem to be enough in a year to forget about the English side.
Despite the rumours, the footballer's agent Ramy Abbas Issa, dispelled myths on social media: "Nonsense. This was never discussed or considered. It hasn't even crossed our minds not qualifying for the Champions League".
