"I knew Messi was going to Miami, we talked about it": Neymar

With the season over, Neymar Jr has taken the moment to go away on holiday. He is currently in the USA, where he has been spotted enjoying the NBA with fellow Brazilian and Real Madrid star, Vinicius Jr.
Speaking to the Youtube channel of NBA Brazil, Neymar discussed Leo Messi, who will play in the MLS next season. "I knew he would come to Miami, we talked about it", he revealed.
"I told him he would be very happy here, with the city and the style of living. It will be very good for him, but it's bittersweet to watch him leave", he continued.
For Neymar, Messi is much more than just a legendary footballer: "He is a gift that this sport has given me. I had the opportunity to meet him, to play with him, and then we became friends".
The Brazilian wished his Argentinian friend the best on his new adventure and has no doubts that he will help the MLS reach new heights. "I'm sure that the whole league will change and it will become much more popular. I think that everyone should take the opportunty to see him play, because unfortunately nothing is forever", he commented.
On his social media, Neymar sent a touching message to his friend, when Messi made it public that his time at PSG had come to an end. "It didn't work out like we hoped, but we gave it everything", he wrote.
