Rodrigo de Paul, Argentina midfielder, said on Sunday that ‘it's a spectacle to be with the group’ in these days of preparation for the Copa America, after the 1-0 friendly win over Ecuador in Chicago. "This is the most beautiful part of the preparation. How we prepare, how we live together, it's a spectacle to be there with the group, how we train, how the group lives together," De Paul said.
"I'm here enjoying myself. Afterwards, we know that the demands and the pressure start. We want to compete, we want to win and this is the time to enjoy it," he added. De Paul also praised Ecuador, an opponent Argentina could meet again in the quarter-finals of the Copa America.
"Ecuador play very well, at least I like the way they play, the way they face the games. These are the games they play, we know how demanding they are. We have to understand that there are times to play, times to try, and they understand the same thing," he said.
