"I really want to reach 400 and 500 games and make history with this club"

Brazilian Vinicus Junior made his debut on Wednesday as Real Madrid captain at the age of 24 in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semifinals against Real Sociedad, with his team winning 1-0, and said it was something “very special” for him and his family after all the difficult moments they have “gone through”.
“It is something very special to be able to play for so long here and at 24 years old to play my first game as captain. It's very special for me and my family, after everything we've been through to get here,” he said on 'RealmadridTV'.
“It's something different because you never imagine what is going to happen to you. I'm happy to be able to play as captain of the best club in the Copa del Rey semifinals. I'm enjoying it. It's something I never dreamed of. In the next match I'll reach 300 games, but I already want to reach 400 and 500 games and make history at this club”, he added.
In addition, the Brazilian analysed Real Madrid's victory at the Reale Arena and praised the moment his team is going through. “We played very well and defended, as the coach asked us to do. We won with a great goal from Endrick,” he said.
“We are reaching our best version in the best moment of the season, when the games we like to play come,” he concluded.
