Fabian Hurzeler, who has been appointed as Roberto De Zerbi's replacement to take the reins at Brighton & Hove Albion from next season, said he wants to achieve big things in his new challenge in England.

Hurzeler, who guided St Pauli to German football's Bundesliga second division title last season, has signed a contract with Brighton & Hove Albion until 2027.
"I will work here the same as I have done before. I am aware this is a huge job and a big challenge. I need a lot of courage and to stay humble. If I am not convinced me and my team can do it, I wouldn’t do it. I call myself the friendly authority. Football is my passion. I try to convince my players using the power of ideas," he said in his first interview as the Seagulls' new coach.
"I really like the DNA, and the very analytical data-based approach,” he continued. “I like the style and playing with courage. I want to achieve big things here. I want to challenge the establishment."
The Texas-born Hurzeler will now be in charge of a Seagulls squad where several players, including James Milner, 38, Danny Welbeck, 33, and Lewis Dunk, 32 are all older than him.
