Dani Carvajal has become one of the main leaders of the Real Madrid dressing room over the seasons. The defender is one of the team captains and this season will be the Leganes native's 12th.
However, the full-back does not want his journey with Real Madrid to come to an end, and he made this clear at a publicity event: "If all parties agree, I want to renew and extend my career at Real Madrid, which is what I have always wanted and what I want now. I wouldn't like to play for any club in Europe after my time at Madrid out of respect.
Carvajal also spoke about Vinicius and Mbappe's chemistry: "Both Vini and Kylian or Rodrygo are players who like to drop to the left wing and not stick so much to the right, that they end up understanding each other is a matter of time, the important thing is to find a balance and that will come soon".
Finally, the player was excited about next month's Ballon d'Or gala, where he is one of the candidates for the title: "We've played four games, this is a long-distance race and now the schedule is tightening up, the games are demanding and we'll probably drop a point or two. It's a great success just to be nominated for the Ballon d'Or, because I've had a great year. Above all, I want to enjoy the gala and I hope to be able to hear my name called".
