Gavi opened up in an interview for 'La Vanguardia'. He admitted that he is a very bad loser, although he assures that he has improved over the years. He confessed that when he lost, his teammates in training paid for his anger. "I used to lose my head...", he said.

At 19 years of age, Gavi recognises that he has some way to go to improve as a footballer. The Barca midfielder admitted in an interview with 'La Vanguardia' that conceding defeats has not exactly been his strong point throughout his career.
"I was a bad loser. Let's just say I handled it quite badly and my team-mates paid for it in training. I used to lose my head...", he admitted.
The midfielder assures that now he fits in better: "I've improved compared to the lower categories. Any coach could tell you that".
On another matter, he made it clear that he cares little about those who brand him as excessively hard on his game. "Xavi helped me, I didn't care what certain people told me. I was aware, but I was calm," he said. "I consider myself a fighter to the end and I will never lose that," he promised.
The midfielder made it clear that he sees himself at Barca for the rest of his life and dreams, why not, of winning the Champions League: "We are Barca, as the coach says. Winning the Champions League is one of my dreams, if not the first. I wish I could always be here, I'll never be happier than here".
