Arjen Robben stood out with his performances at Chelsea, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. The Dutchman knew how to score with superb shots.
"Sometimes it doesn't run for you, but you always have to try. He didn't get much behind it. I met the ball and hit it well. You always need a bit of luck," he said.
Bayern looked for a replacement when the right winger left the Bundesliga outfit and they signed Alphonso Davies, who is being targeted by several clubs. The Canadian confirmed on the 'Say Less' podcast that David Alaba's injury changed his plans at the German club.
"I was signed to replace Arjen Robben and when David Alaba got injured, I was then used as a full-back. And now, three, four years later, I'm stuck there. I'm still waiting for the chance to play up top," he said.
