“I was very excited to be able to play for Spain”
Pedro Porro, one of the players who was finally left out of Luis de la Fuente's preliminary squad list, was disappointed not to be in the Spain squad but assured that he will be “one more supporting the team”.

Tottenham Hotspur's Pedro Porro has expressed his regret at missing out on a place in Spain's squad for Euro 2024 and sent words of encouragement to his teammates to give the fans a "great joy".
"I was very excited about the possibility of being able to represent my country at the European Championship, but in the end it won't be this time," Porro said on social media.
The Spanish full-back expressed his "respect and admiration" for all his team-mates who will be defending Spain's colours.
"From here I'll be one more supporting the team and hopefully we'll have a great joy. Let's go guys," he concluded.
