Barcelona forward Robert Lewandowski explained to 'Bild' the reasons why he decided to leave Bayern Munich looking for a new project, and finally ended up arriving at Barcelona.
"Of course I would have continued going to work at Bayern, but more because I had to, not because I wanted to. I didn't want that feeling, it wouldn't have been good for the club or myself", the striker explained.
Bayern's decision to sack Julian Nagelsmann and get Thomas Tuchel in surprised Lewandowski, as he was a manager "who put his own stamp on things".
"Tuchel can bring a lot of titles to Bayern, this season and in the future. While the team is still developping, there'll be no reason to criticise him".
The Pole also spoke about Flick departure: "With him, everything was great, we performed really well and we won titles, and he also ended up leaving. From my point of view, it was a bit strange, difficult to understand. But that's how business works, and I'm just a small part of it".
