Ibrahimovic's farewell to Milan looms

41-year-old Zlatan Ibrahimovic continues to prove to the world that he is built to score goals. The Swede is in great form and, for the moment, has no plans to retire.
Some Italian media reports suggest that the striker could move to Monza this summer. Many assume that he could be living his last weeks as a 'Rossoneri'.
In this 36th Serie A matchday against Sampdoria, Ibrahimovic will not be able to play, as he is suffering from an injury. Although he has been working out at Milanello, he will have to remain on the sidelines for the time being.
His aim, according to 'Tuttosport', is to arrive in time for the final match against Hellas Verona. That match will be on 4th June at the San Siro and the striker wants to say goodbye to his fans then.
He has not played since 24th March 2023. He played for Sweden against Belgium. To see the player's last game for the 'Rossoneri' we have to go back to 18th March, when he played against Udinese (3-1), scoring from the penalty spot.
The Swede is a 'Rossoneri' legend in his own right and hopes to put aside the muscular problems that have caused him to miss much of the final part of the season.
Recovered or not by then, Ibrahimovic can boast of being the 10th player with the most goals for AC Milan (93) and also of being among the players with the most games on the scoresheet (75).
The Swede has played 163 games in the red-and-black jersey and hopes to have the opportunity to say goodbye to his fans, whatever happens. His future is unknown.
