Barcelona midfielder Pedri Gonzalez is suffering from a muscle injury but is working to recover as soon as possible. The 20-year-old hopes to be in good form after the international break.
The Spain international spoke to fans through 'The Residency' app and was asked about his return. "Soon, after the international break, I hope to be ready. If everything goes well, I'll be at my best for 'El Clasico'.
"I am looking forward to returning. Fortunately, everything went very well and I'm almost there. There's nothing left to do but get back on my feet. Injuries are part of our job and we have to work hard to come back better," he added.
Finally, he said that all this time has been dedicated to taking care of himself and training. Pedri was also asked how Barcelona had dealt with his absence and that of Frenkie de Jong.
"We have a great team and, no matter who plays, they always perform well," he claimed.
