Kylian Mbappe has gone yet another season without lifting the Champions League. PSG couldn't find their way through, and Emmanuel Petit doesn't think that's going to change in the near future.
The Monaco legend spoke to 'Legal Sports Book' about it: "If Mbappe wants to win the UCL and become the best player in the world and win the Ballon d'Or, I think he has to leave PSG. The door to Real Madrid is still open, but maybe not like it was two years ago".
For Emmanuel Petit, next season could be the one where Kylian Mbappe rethinks about it all: "He signed a contract with PSG for three years, but I think the last season is negotiable. So next season could be when he starts thinking about it all".
What's more, the Frenchman in the interview doesn't think seeing the number 7 at the Bernabeu would be too far out of the question: "I think Florentino Perez said not long ago that if he wants to go to Madrid, he's always welcome; but he'll have to think about it twice in terms of the salary".
Up until now, Kylian Mbappe has got 34 goals and 8 assists with Christophe Galtier's side this season. Unless there's a monumental surprise, the youngster will bercrowned with yet another Ligue 1 title.
