The Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho denied on Wednesday the rumours that had linked him over the last few days with PSG next season.
"If PSG came looking for me, they didn't find me. I haven't spoken to anyone", stated the coach to 'Sky Sports', dispelling doubts about his future, which currently seems to be linked with Roma.
The statements come after several days of speculations, which resulted in 'RMC' publishing that the Parisian side had approached Mourinho.
It's not the first time in the season that there have been speculations about his departure. At the start of the year, he was linked with the Portuguese national team, and shortly after, there were rumours he would become the coach of the Brazilian national team, whilst coaching Roma.
On his part, Mourinho has a contract with the 'Giallorossi' club until 2024, although, despite recognising several times how happy he is in the Italian capital, it's no secret he has other ambitions.
"I'm happy here, I can't hide it. I like the people, I have a good relationship with the owners and if I said anything otherwise, I'd be lying. The players are fantastic, they have incredible empathy amongst themselves. I couldn't call them my sons because I have two already, but they come close", he said at the end of April after the game against Feyenoord that secured them access to the semi-finals of the Europa League.
"I can't say I'm not happy. Sometimes I'm weighed down by frustrations and I think about other options, but the important thing is that I'm happy and I work for people I have made happy too. That's what's important", he added.
