"I'll do it 10x if I have to. They’re not ready" - Vini vows revenge after Ballon d'Or snub

Brazilian Vinicius Junior, runner-up in the Ballon d'Or 2024 despite being tipped as the favourite for an award won by Rodrigo Hernandez, left a vindictive message on his social media after the gala, saying he will do the same "10 times again if necessary" to win the award.
"I will do it 10 times again if I have to. They are not ready," he wrote on his official Twitter profile shortly after it was announced that the Spanish midfielder was the winner of the award.
The Brazilian was the favourite to win the Ballon d'Or, but, on Monday, everything changed. Apparently, Real Madrid received information that neither Vinicius nor Carvajal were going to win the award, so they cancelled their trip to Paris for the gala, considering it "a lack of respect", according to 'EFE' sources at the club.
In fact, there were no representatives to collect the three awards that the Santiago Bernabeu club won. Kylian Mbappe shared the European top scorer of the season award with Harry Kane, Carlo Ancelotti was named best coach and Real Madrid won the award for best club.
