Francesco Totti confessed this week that several Serie A teams have asked him to come out of retirement. The Roma icon has not accepted... but he has not ruled it out either.

Seeing Francesco Totti back in action is something that, in the middle of 2024, no one expected. But the Roma legend has left a small door open to his return to the top flight, 7 years after retiring.
“Lately I've been called by Serie A teams and they've made me think a bit. It would be difficult, but in life I will never say never. In football there have already been players who have returned to the pitch after years of retirement,” Totti said at an event with Betsson.
Totti was questioned about whether such offers were recent, to which the former player confirmed that there were from “a month ago”, but that they were neither from Roma nor Lazio, which he “would not even consider”.
“It would take me two or three months to get fit. I would have to train well to return to Serie A. 30-40 minutes I can still play”, signed a Totti who spoke of his retirement.
“It was not my choice, you know everything. To stop playing with Roma was not my choice, and that door has always been open," concluded the Italian legend.
