FC Barcelona played their last game at the Camp Nou as we know it against Mallorca. It was a special day, as the 'Cules' said goodbye to two of their most legendary players of all time: Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, who won't be staying at the club next season.
What is more, the Barca defensive midfielder gave clues as to where he will be playing next to 'Tot costa': "I'll play outside Europe. I don't want to end up playing against Barca in an important cup game, that's for sure", he said.
In a tongue-in-cheek way, the Barca captain revealed a funny joke that people said to him daily before he officially said goodbye. "People told me to do a Matheu Alemany, but no. I'm a person of my word. I've felt supported since I announced it and even the president said that I should be the one to decide, that I deserved it and I had earned it".
Additionally, Busquets was then questioned about the possibility of playing with ex-Barca teammates and friends: "I'd like to play with Messi, but it doesn't work like that. I have 3 or 4 offers that I'll think about in the next 2 or 3 weeks with my family".
