Ruben Amorim takes the reins at Manchester United after coaching Sporting Lisbon for the last time on Sunday. After the match and being sent off in style by his fans after a great 4-2 comeback win over Sporting Braga, the Portuguese coach was asked about the formation he will use at his new club.
Amorim is known for how well he works his back three for the Portuguese side, so reporters asked him if he intends to use that formation as Red Devils coach, something he declined to confirm.
"I have to start from something I know very well and then develop that with the players. We don’t have much time to train, there are many games, so I’ll start from a structure I know very well," he told reporters.
Amorim will make his debut as Manchester United manager on 24th November after the international break when the Mancunian side visit Ipswich Town in Round 12 of the Premier League.
