Neymar has no doubts about who he would give the Ballon d'Or to and he wanted to reflect that in an interview to 'Band Sports': "Vini had a great season, I will definitely support him for the Ballon d'Or. I think there is no one else but him."
"We have a wonderful friendship, I love Vini. He is a great friend who gave me football," he added. The two Brazilian players have always been very respectful and affectionate towards each other in their statements.
The possibility of Vinicius Junior winning his first Ballon d'Or is on the table and even more so now that he has just become a Champions League winner for the second time in his career.
Meanwhile, Neymar said of his injury and missing the Copa America: "It's going to be sad. It's a shame to have to be away, obviously, but I'll be supporting them. I hope Brazil can win, we have a team for that, with players of a lot of quality."
The Brazilian also expressed his admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo: "He's a great example and one of the biggest names in football," he added. The Portuguese is also playing in Saudi Arabia.
