Jude Bellingham, scorer of a brace in Real Madrid's win at Almeria and top scorer with three goals in two games for Carlo Ancelotti's side, said he is "10 times better player" in his new team.
"I am 10 times better player than last season. I'm comfortable with these players. Surrounded by them, I'm learning a lot from my team-mates. That's why I'm doing so well, there are a lot of games left, I have to keep growing and contributing," he told Real Madrid TV.
"I'm very happy, but the most important thing is to play well and contribute. I know I'll get there and my team-mates will be looking for me, but it's not about goals even if I'm happy to score. The important thing is to help the team win," he added.
On his first comeback as a Real Madrid player, Bellingham recalled what he saw from afar and noted the calmness he felt on the faces of his team-mates, convinced they would turn the game around.
"I saw the comebacks many times when I was a kid on TV. I remember thinking 'they won't be able to do it' and they came back. Now, here I am, living this experience. There's a kind of serenity and you never think we're going to lose, you see the faces of my team-mates and there's no anxiety, they know they're going to come back," he added.
