Arne Slot's Liverpool are riding high after a promising start to the season that has seen the Reds sit top of the Premier League, top of the Champions League standings and qualify for the quarter-finals of the League Cup.
However, there is a sense of uncertainty among Liverpool fans as there is a trio of stars whose futures at Anfield are uncertain. Van Dijk, Alexander-Arnold and Salah could all leave the club as free agents next summer.
The contracts of all three Reds expire in June 2025 and according to reports the only one who appears close to putting pen to paper is the Dutch defender, while the right-back is strongly linked with Real Madrid and Salah with a possible move to Saudi Arabia.
The Dutch manager said ahead of the upcoming Premier League game against Aston Villa that he is in talks with the club and Richard Hughes about the contractual situation of all three players.
"I’m obviously talking to the club and Richard Hughes, but I’m not gonna comment on that in public," said the former PSV coach.
