The Copa America will be one of the big attractions this summer. Argentina will defend the title won in the previous edition and Leo Messi, its captain, took the opportunity to speak to 'ESPN' before the start of the tournament.
The media outlet offered a small preview, where the Argentinean star spoke about the moment of his retirement: "I'm not ready to leave football. I've been doing this all my life. I love playing football, I enjoy training, the day-to-day, the matches... And yes, there is always a little fear that it will all come to an end."
"It was a difficult step to leave Europe to come here. The fact that I was a world champion helped a lot and to see things in a different way too," he added.
Messi also valued his good moment in a totally different stage of his career: "I'm aware that every time there's less and less. And I'm having a good time at the club, with the luck I have to have teammates and friends by my side. I'm having a good time in the national team, where I have teammates and friends too, and lots of them. And I enjoy the little things that I know that when I don't play any more I'm going to miss."
The Argentine star also assured that Inter Miami will be his last club: "Yes, I think Inter Miami will be my last club."
