The Three Lions are set to host Greece at Wembley on Thursday before travelling to face Finland on Sunday in their upcoming Nations League fixtures. However, Lee Carsley could be without his captain, as Harry kane has suffered an injury to his right leg. The striker was forced off the pitch in Bayern Munich's 3-3 draw against Eintracht Frankfurt, and was quickly replaced by Mathys Te at the 72' minute of the Sunday showdown.
"Harry Kane, who was substituted during the game, travelled directly from Frankfurt to the England camp, where he was examined by the FA's medical staff," reads the statement from Bayern Munich. "A more precise diagnosis is still pending."
That said, Carsley has plently of options in attack with Anthony Gordon, Jack Grealish, Noni Madueke, Bukayo Saka, Dominic Solanke and Ollie Watkins all included in the squad. Tottenham's Solanke could be a serious contender to replace Kane after having received his first England call-up in seven years.
The first-choice striker is not the only doubt, as Ezri Konsa and Morgan Gibbs-White are also expected to miss out. Konsa sustained a hamstring injury during the Premier League clash between Aston Villa and Manchester United on Sunday. The Villa defender was substituted just after 12 minutes of play following a challenge from Rasmus Hojlund. Meanwhile, Gibbs-White was taken off the pitch in Nottingham Forest's 1-1 draw with Chelsea due to an ankle injury.
