Intense confrontation between Xavi and Dani Carvajal: "You're a fool, you're a fool"

However, one of the most controversial moments of the match was between Xavi Hernandez and Dani Carvajal, who had a heated confrontation that ended with referee Munuera Montero cautioning the Catalan side's coach.
The dispute originated after a clash between Carvajal and Alejandro Balde. The 'Cule' coach was unhappy with the action and took the opportunity to shout at the full-back: "You're a clever man".
Far from putting an end to the argument, Xavi could not contain his anger with the Spanish international and started calling him a fool: "You fool, you're a fool". The Madrid defender replied several times and the referee had to intervene to calm the situation.
