"It doesn't matter how many hat tricks Haaland gets, Pep never wanted players like that"

Striker Erling Haaland has scored 31 goals and provided three assists in 28 games played for City. That's quite something. However, for some, the Norwegian is not in the right place.
Former Bayern and Liverpool player Dietmar Hamann, among others, does not understand how he could have ended up at the Etihad Stadium. "I never thought I could sign for City because Guardiola never wanted players like that," he told 'TalkSport'.
"Haaland's strength has nothing to do with the team's style. City were successful because of their attempt to keep the ball, to play rhythmically and smoothly, but now they have a player who is not involved in the play. It's like playing with ten...," he continued.
For Hamann, no matter how many goals Haaland scores, he will never really help Pep's team: "It doesn't matter how many hat tricks he scores.
