Marc-Andre ter Stegen has only conceded seven goals in LaLiga 2022-23. In that sense, former Deportivo La Coruña goalkeeper Paco Liano considered that FC Barcelona's German goalkeeper "could win a historic Zamora Trophy".

Former Deportivo La Coruna goalkeeper Paco Liano gave an interview to 'Que T'hi Jugues' and spoke about Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who is close to surpassing the historic goalkeeping record, who only conceded 18 goals in La Liga in the 1993-94 season.
"Ter Stegen is a very complete goalkeeper, who works very well in front of goal, who is capable of making himself big when confronted.... And that has saved Barca from a few upsets this year. And that's why he has the figures he has. He's incredible and I think he's going to take the absolute record for the all-time Zamora", began Liano.
In the same vein, he added: "Right now it seems impossible to score a goal against Barca in La Liga. The number of clean sheets he has kept is a credit to Ter Stegen, but I would extend that to Barca as a club, starting with (Robert) Lewandowski and ending with Ter Stegen.
"Xavi's team has a brutal high pressing, that makes it much more difficult to reach the Barça goal.... They are going through an excellent moment", continued the former goalkeeper.
For his part, Liano referred to the situation of Pablo Torre, who he knows perfectly well from his time at Racing Santander: "He's a gem. I have seen him grow as a footballer and I am very sad that this year he is not being able to show all the talent he has".
