Joan Laporta, on his way out of court on Monday morning - he was testifying in a case of alleged fraud - complained about the refereeing of the La Liga match between Getafe and Barcelona this weekend. The club's president believes there was a clear penalty from Christantus Uche on Jules Kounde that the referees did not award.

FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta said on Monday, after testifying as an investigator in the City of Justice for an alleged crime of fraud, that "it is a disgrace that they did not give a penalty on Kounde" in the last La Liga match against Getafe (1-1).
"The refereeing in the game against Getafe was an absolute disgrace. Not giving a penalty for the foul on Kounde is a scandal," he said, visibly annoyed.
In the action, which took place in the 80th minute of the match, Christantus Uche grabbed and brought down Jules Kounde inside the box without the referee, Gonzalez Fuertes, or the VAR intervening to award the penalty. The person in charge from the VOR room was Hernandez Maeso. On the pitch, Barcena Rodriguez and Ruben Porras worked as assistants. The fourth judge was Tarraga Lajara.
As a result of this result, Hansi Flick's side have lost ground in the race for the lead of La Liga, which now belongs to Real Madrid after the Catalan slip-up and Atletico's defeat. Carlo Ancelotti's side are two points clear of Simeone's side and seven ahead of the 'Cules', who are level with Athletic, fourth in the domestic standings and just outside the Champions League zone.
