Lazio striker and Serie A goalscorer Ciro Immobile has had a huge accident on Sunday morning. The Italian footballer was involved in a car crash while travelling with his daughters through the streets of Rome.
According to 'AGTW', the attacker hit a tram that had gone through a red light. The front of his vehicle, as can be seen in the television pictures, was completely destroyed.
"The tram went through a red light. Luckily I'm fine, my arm just hurts a bit," said Immobile, who showed no serious injuries after the incident. Indeed, the local authorities reported that there were no serious injuries.
Seven people, including one of the player's daughters, were taken to the nearest hospital for minor ailments. All those involved are are not thought to be seriously injured and will be released from hospital in the next few hours.
Now it will be up to the police. The officers will have to start the investigation to determine what happened and whether Immobile's statements about what happened are true.
