The Parc des Princes was divided between those who gave Kylian Mbappe an honourable farewell and those who whistled him for his decision to leave. The French superstar played his last game at the Parisian home on Sunday.
Luis Enrique, who has been his coach this season, wanted to bid farewell to the player from Bondy: "Coaching Kylian Mbappe has been a pleasure," the Spanish coach told the media.
While the two have had a tug-of-war since it became known that he was not going to renew, Luis Enrique is sticking with the good things: "He is an exemplary player. I have nothing to reproach him for, he behaved perfectly".
Another person within the club who wanted to pay tribute to Mbappe was Ousmane Dembele, who arrived from Barcelona last season and now has to take up his baton.
"I spent a season with him at PSG. He gave a lot for the club, he did a lot. We are happy with everything he did, he grew up well at PSG, he has achieved a lot. He is a PSG legend," he explained.
