Ex-member of the Espai Barca Commission Jaume Llopis spoke to 'Radio Marca' about Leo Messi's possible return. He resigned, in fact, when Joan Laporta didn't renew Messi and accused the president of toying with the fans' wishes, and he now thinks the star will never return.

The Camp Nou are interested in getting Leo Messi back. He left in 2021 after not reaching an agreement with Barcelona and now that his contract with PSG is running out, the Catalan side's board are confident about getting him back.
Ex-member of the Espai Barca Commission Jaume Llopis thinks that it's an unfounded rumour from 'Cule' president Joan Laporta. "It's impossible for Messi to return to Barcelona, a curtain of smoke. Whatever they say, he won't come back as a player while Laporta is president. I was there on the inside and I know what happened", he said to 'Radio Marca'.
What's more, he criticised the Barca board: "They've worsened the financial situation compared to Bartomeu. Debt will go over €3 billion and investors won't be earning anything, they'll cash in their debts and the club will become owners of its creditors".
"We don't know about the debt or about the small print in the contracts. There's no one with managing experience or of keeping companies afloat when in crisis except Eduard Romeu, and he's not spoken for months", he continued.
For Llopis, the club has never been led by anyone worse than Laporta: "He's going to go down in history as the worst president of Barcleona: the one who let the best footballer in the world go and the one who will end up being responsible for the club not being of the fans anymore", he said.
