The player from the Las Palmas academy spoke about the dependency on the former Bayern man: "As well as whether he finishes a move well or not, what we have to do is give it to him in a good position. Otherwise, it's impossible for him to score. In that sense, it's more our fault than his that he doesn't score (more) goals."
"With great players it's very easy to understand each other on the pitch. The truth is that Robert, from the first day, has been magnificent with me. Despite not knowing the language, he's integrated very quickly. He helps us youngsters a lot and gives us advice," Pedri said.
Lastly, he spoke about how Lewandowski helps the youngsters: "To Gavi and I, that we are participating more, he helps us and tells us to loop the ball into space, that we go that, that he will come, that he will draw the central defenders away and that the balls will be there for us to score. Having a player like that helps us loads on the field of play."
