The French national team have a host of stars ready to win another title. The last few European Championships have eluded them despite being favoured by fans and pundits alike.
Antoine Griezmann is clear that he has to work for Kylian Mbappe and not the other way around: "Defensively, we play with two blocks of four players and Kylian. Offensively, there is a lot of freedom with Mbappe and Thuram on the flanks. It's up to me to adapt to him.
"I can adapt, I can play in both positions. It depends on the team in front of us. It will be necessary to find the balance. It's up to me to be attentive on the pitch," he said at the pre-match press conference ahead of the friendly against Canada.
"We have less and less time to prepare for the competition. The 2018 one was the toughest. Now we've had three pretty intense days. We have two games in a row. Otherwise, the group is fine. Qatar was exceptional except for the final. We can dream of great things," he concluded.
