Spain has once again reigned supreme in Europe. For the fourth time in history, the country that has achieved it the most times, 'La Roja' won the continental title after beating England in the final with a late goal by Mikel Oyarzabal.
The striker, who replaced Alvaro Morata, spoke on 'La 1' after winning the match: "I did my job, what I had to do at every moment, it was my turn to help and I was lucky enough to give the victory. When you have f*cked up moments, being here you value it a lot and if you're lucky enough to be able to help like I did, that's the best," he said.
"The injury, everything I've been through? To take this immense joy... I'm very happy, very proud of everyone, 45 days here, this is a family in which everyone has equal value. This is incredible," he said.
Oyarzabal recalled his goal: "Dani's ball comes to me, I see that Cucu is running and he's going to get the advantage, I run, I dive, I touch it and it goes in."
