Jadon Sancho's buy option clause "not realistic", says Dortmund sporting director

Jadon Sancho escaped a nightmare season at Manchester United after being exiled from first-team plans by Erik ten hag when he returned to Borussia Dortmund">Borussia Dortmund on loan in January.
The England winger is back to loving life under Edin Terzic in the Bundesliga, but the truth is that the agreement between the English club and the German club does not include a buy-out clause, so the 23-year-old will have to return to the Mancunian outfit in June.
Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl revealed that they tried to include an option to buy the England international but failed to reach an agreement."A buy option clause for Jadon Sancho or Maatsen was not realistic," he said.
"We naturally advocated for an option with Sancho and Maatsen but the negotiating position was not such that we could implement it... and so we will accept it for now," concluded the German.
