Joao Felix continues training with Atletico as he waits for Barca

Joao Felix's future remains a mystery. The Portuguese striker wants to be signed on loan by Barcelona to play - at least - the 2023/24 season with the Catalan giants.
However, the closure of the summer transfer window is just around the corner and they still haven't received any news from Xavi Hernandez's side. Meanwhile, Atletico continue with their training sessions.
As did Joao Felix, who trained with his teammates on Friday at Atletico's training complex. But current coach Diego Simeone has ruled the Portuguese out of the possible starting XI for Sunday's La Liga clash with Sevilla.
Barcelona is the option that the Portuguese is clinging to in order to continue playing in Europe. The striker arrived from Benfica and has played 131 of the 136 competitive matches he has been available for Atletico.
