Joao Felix has yet to take to the pitch at the European Championship in Germany despite starting the friendly warm-up matches against Croatia and Ireland, against whom he scored a goal. The Barcelona player, on loan from Atletico Madrid until 30th June, is one of the most recurrent names in the fans' debate on social networks due to his ostracism under Roberto Martinez.

Portugal and Atletico Madrid striker Joao Felix, who spent last season on loan at Barcelona, did not get a single minute in the second matchday of Group F of Euro 2024 against Turkey, as he did in the first match against the Czech Republic on Tuesday.
The striker warmed up for a stretch of the match, but coach Roberto Martinez did not choose him to come on among the five changes he made: Ruben Neves for Joao Palhinha in the 46th minute, Pedro Neto for Rafael Leão in the 46th minute, Nelson Semedo for Joao Cancelo in the 68th minute, Antonio Silva for Pepe in the 83rd minute and Joao Neves for Vitinha in the 89th minute.
He is one of four outfield players not yet used by Roberto Martinez at this European Championship, along with Goncalo Ramos, Danilo Pereira and Matheus Nunes, as well as goalkeepers Rui Patricio and Jose Sa.
