Joao Felix trains with Atletico while waiting for Chelsea

Joao Felix could return to Stamford Bridge. At Chelsea he played half the season on loan during the 2022/23 season, scoring four goals in 20 games played, 14 as a starter.
Chelsea, after the thwarting of the signing of Samu Omorodion, are thinking of him again as an attacking reinforcement. Talks with Atletico are underway, but for the moment there is no financial agreement.
With his future still to be clarified, the Portuguese striker trained on Thursday under the orders of coach Diego Pablo Simeone. The player, having overcome the discomfort that caused him to miss Wednesday's session, trained normally with his teammates.
Atletico face Villarreal in their first game and it remains to be seen if Joao Felix's fate has been decided by then. If not, he could be included in the squad, although he must first be registered in La Liga, something that has not happened so far.
