Barcelona forward Joao Felix, who is suffering from a sprained ankle, has been left out of Xavi Hernandez's squad list for the postponed matchday 20 fixture against Osasuna on Wednesday.
The Portuguese started the defeat to Villarreal in La Liga and is struggling to beat Ferran Torres in the battle for a starting place in his coach's starting line-up.
Unai Hernandez, who plays for the academy, will replace Marc Guiu in the squad. With the match against Osasuna, Barcelona catch up, like Atletico and Real Madrid, after their trip to Saudi Arabia for the Spanish Super Cup.
The Catalans could at best move into third place in the table at the expense of Cholo Simeone's side if they fail to beat Rayo Vallecano. What is unattainable is second place for Carlo Ancelotti's side, with 10 points more and just one behind Girona, who have played once more.
Goalkeepers: Inaki Pena, Ander Astralaga and Diego Kochen
Defenders: Joao Cancelo, Ronald Araujo, Andreas Christensen, Jules Kounde, Hector Fort and Pau Cubarsi
Midfielders: Pedri Gonzalez, Fermin Lopez, Oriol Romeu, Frenkie de Jong, Ilkay Gundogan, Marc Casado and Unai Hernandez
Forwards: Ferran Torres, Robert Lewandowski, Vitor Roque and Lamine Yamal
