Kai Havertz has not had the best start to his Arsenal career. The German player joined the Gunners from Chelsea last summer in a move worth around £65 million.
Both the Blues and Gunners have a great rivalry as they are neighbours in London, so it is always difficult for a player to swap teams whose fans are rivals. The German playmaker spoke about what it was like for him to leave Stamford Bridge and try his luck at Mikel Arteta's side.
"I’m super happy to be at Arsenal, it feels like family. It’s always tough when you come from Chelsea, because they are big rivals, so it can take weeks to get some trust from the fans. Goals and good games can help me to get it. I’ll always give 100%," he said.
The Germany international has made 19 appearances for his current club, 14 of them starts. However, despite being used by Arteta in several games, the former Leverkusen player has only scored one goal and provided one assist.
