Following weeks of speculation, Jonathan David has found a new home. The Canadian forward, one of the most sought-after free agents this summer, has chosen to join Juventus, with the Turin-based club announcing the arrival of the attacker on Friday, 4 July.
David, having already signed his new contract, has committed to Juventus until 30 June 2030. The agreement sees both parties aligned for five seasons.
At 25, the Canada international takes a significant step forward in his career, leaving behind a Lille side where he thrived for five years (scoring 109 goals in 232 appearances) to join one of the giants of the Old Continent, albeit one currently facing challenging times.
With David's arrival, coach Igor Tudor gains a premium addition to his attacking options. The forward's signing also potentially accelerates the departure of Dusan Vlahovic, whom the club has been looking to move on for months.
