The Colombian winger's mother has officially been rescued, but it has not yet been confirmed that the player's father is safe although his wife is safe.
Liverpool winger Diogo Jota gave the Reds the lead after finishing a great counter-attack started by Mohamed Salah, before celebrating his goal by dedicating it to his team-mate.
After celebrating the opener against Nottingham Forest with his team-mates, the Portuguese went to the bench and held up a T-shirt with Luis Diaz's number and name on it, to support his team-mate in the difficult time he is going through.
