This Monday, July 31st, marks the last day that Paris Saint-Germain said they would give Kylian Mbappe to decide about his future at the Parc des Princes. The French striker will receive 40 million euros as part of his loyalty bonus with the club if they haven't managed to sell him by Tuesday, August 1st.

Monday promises to be a busy day in the offices of the Parc des Princes. While the club are working on the signing of Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona, the other name making headlines for Paris Saint-Germain remains Kylian Mbappe.
July 31st marks the end of the ultimatum given to the striker by club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, demanding that he decides whether or not to renew with the club for another season or be sold this summer. That he leaves for free in 2024 was never an option for the Qatari ownership.
The date is key not only to face the second leg of the transfer window knowing if Mbappe is going to be the star of the team or not, but also because it marks the first payment of the Frenchman's loyalty clause.
If Mbappe continues beyond this Monday, the striker will collect €40 million, half of the loyalty bonus that the France international is owed this summer. Despite this the Parisian club have decided to ground Mbappe and not include him in the club's Asian tour as they prepare for the season.
