The Premier League is on the verge of snapping up another young talent. It is Juventus player Dean Huijsen, a 19-year-old centre-back, who was called up to the Spanish U21 team under the guidance of Santi Denia.
The Dutch-born Spaniard has not had many opportunities in Turin, as he barely participated in one game with the first team. During his loan spell at Roma, he was a promising defender who played 14 games in half a season, starting 5 of them, and scoring 2 goals.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Bournemouth have reached an agreement with the ‘Vecchia Signora’ to acquire the services of the Dutch-born player. The Cherries will pay 15 million euros for the transfer plus another 3 million euros as add-ons. In addition, Huijsen will undergo his medical on Saturday 27th July.
Following the formalisation of Dean Huijsen's departure, Juventus will now turn their attention to signing Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo. The club would be willing to offer around 40 million euros for the Frenchman.
