Juventus have met with Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey and his representatives over a possible move ahead of the January transfer window.
Juve have eyed the Ghanaian midfielder as the ideal replacement for Paul Pogba, who is suspended for testing positive for testosterone from a substance called DHEA. The French former Manchester United player will face an anti-doping tribunal and if found guilty could face a four-year ban.
According to reports from Foot Mercato, Juventus are thinking ahead in the event of the suspension and have met with the Ghana international and his agents to discuss a possible move in the January transfer window.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has been without Partey all season as injuries have kept him sidelined and he has only made five appearances in all competitions.
Partey was an important player for the Gunners last season but it seems the Spanish boss is delighted with the arrival of Declan Rice and could be considering letting Partey leave.
Juventus have also set their sights on another Premier League side for another possible move. The Italian side have their eye on Jadon Sancho who is sidelined at Manchester United for Erik ten Hag, the problem with this move is that the Red Devils are looking for a permanent transfer and Juve for a loan move.
