Juventus has announced that they have initiated the process to withdraw from the European Super League project.

The Italian club confirmed that discussions had taken place with the remaining clubs in the project, Real Madrid and Barcelona, regarding their exit.
The decision comes from disagreements over-interpreting the contractual terms related to the Super League project. Juventus stated that their exit would be finalized and effective only if Real Madrid and Barcelona authorized it.
Former Juventus chairman Andrea Agnelli, who played a crucial role in creating the ESL, recently received a 16-month ban from football due to irregularities in the club's player payment practices. Agnelli and the entire Juventus board resigned from their positions in November.
The breakaway Super League was formed in April 2021 by 12 of Europe's top football clubs to take control of the game and its financial revenues away from UEFA. However, the project quickly collapsed within 48 hours following widespread criticism from fans and players. As a result, Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Chelsea, Milan, Internazionale, and Atlético Madrid all withdrew from the Super League.
Matters only got worse for the fans with Juventus tickets this season. After being held guilty of financial fraud, Juventus dropped points and finished 7th in the league, and it was a heavy 2023 for those who had Juventus tickets for the season.
Juventus will search for a new shirt sponsor as the current collaboration with Jeep will end after the 2023/24 season. The Italian club has been sporting the car manufacturer's logo on its jerseys since 2012, with the sponsorship deal earning them €45 million annually.
However, according to reports, the contract between Juventus and Jeep will not be renewed on June 2024. The decision is said to be influenced by the struggling car market in recent years, leading John Elkann, the CEO of EXOR (the holding company that owns both Juventus and Jeep), to be less inclined to invest a substantial sum in a jersey sponsorship deal.
Juventus director Francesco Calvo will now find a new sponsor during the club's summer tour in the United States. The aim is to secure an American company willing to match Jeep's previous financial commitment. Alternatively, companies from Saudi Arabia, which have been heavily investing in football, may also show interest in collaborating with the club.
The report also speculates whether this development could be a sign of detachment on Elkann's part. Elkann, the leader of the Agnelli family, which has owned Juventus for a century, is reportedly contemplating selling the club, particularly following the departure of his cousin Andrea Agnelli, who served as club president from 2010 to 2022.
After a series of dismay, fans with Juventus tickets have newfound hope in this transfer window with the club going for the prospective stars.
Barcelona's attempts to offload unwanted players have faced challenges this summer. While Ferran Torres and Sergino Dest have struggled to attract clubs, Franck Kessie has been more selective in choosing his next destination.
Saudi Arabian clubs have courted Kessie, but he hesitates about moving to the Middle East. However, according to Mundo Deportivo, Juventus has now expressed interest in signing him.
Valued at €25 million, Kessie is open to returning to Italy as he feels respected there. The midfielder had a successful spell with AC Milan before joining Barcelona last summer.
Juventus sees Kessie as a potential replacement for Paul Pogba, who has been considering leaving Turin amid interest from Al Ahli in Saudi Arabia. At 30 years old, Pogba might follow the trend of players like Ruben Neves and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who have moved to Saudi Arabia. This is where Kessie comes into the picture. However, Juventus is only interested in signing him on a loan deal.
Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri greatly admires Kessie's work ethic on the pitch. Nevertheless, the club prefers a temporary arrangement rather than a permanent signing.
On the other hand, Barcelona wants to sell Kessie permanently this summer as they need funds. Juventus is also considering other alternatives in the market, such as Rodrigo de Paul and Teun Koopmeiners.
For a potential transfer to occur, Barcelona and Juventus must engage in proper dialogue to align their goals for Kessie this summer. The developments in this transfer saga will be intriguing in the coming weeks.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli has made a lucrative offer to Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba. The three-year contract is reportedly worth €100 million plus bonuses.
Paul Pogba was a player of mixed emotions for those with Juventus tickets. He was sensational in his breakthrough season after returning from United for the first time, and everyone loved him. Since returning the second time, he has been lackluster and had to miss the season due to injury.
Fans with Juventus tickets agree that letting go of Pogba might be the right call.
Al Ahli is looking to bolster their squad by adding Pogba, who would join former Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy and former Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino.
Before finalizing the deal, Al Ahli will want to assess Pogba's physical condition. The contract details have already been verbally outlined to Pogba's agent Rafaela Pimenta.
Injuries marred Pogba's 2022/23 season, and he made only 161 minutes of playing time in 10 appearances across all competitions for Juventus. Pogba may desire to leave the Serie A side.
If Pogba expresses his desire to move, Juventus will not block the transfer and will seek a €10 million transfer fee.
Juventus is also considering the potential departures of midfielders Denis Zakaria, Weston McKennie, and Arthur Melo. They are eyeing players such as Teun Koopmeiners from Atalanta, Franck Kessie from Barcelona, Rodrigo de Paul from Atletico Madrid, and Habib Diarra from Strasbourg as potential reinforcements in that area.
Juventus has made the surprising decision to oust their long-serving captain Leonardo Bonucci from the squad after 12 seasons with the club. Despite Bonucci's determination to stay and fight for his place under manager Max Allegri, the club's management has decided otherwise.
Reports from various Italian news sources, including Gianluca Di Marzio and Giovanni Albanese, confirm that Juventus directors Cristiano Giuntoli and Giovanni Manna visited Bonucci while he was on vacation in Tuscany to deliver the news. The 36-year-old defender was informed that he is no longer part of the club's technical project and will need to find a new club.
Bonucci was shocked upon hearing the news but will still report to training on Monday to begin his pre-season preparations. However, he will not join the Juventus squad for their upcoming summer tour in the United States and will train separately at Continassa.
Now, it is up to Bonucci's agent Alessandro Lucci to explore potential solutions for his client in the transfer market. In the meantime, Danilo will become Juventus' captain after wearing the armband for most of last season.
Juventus tickets for the pre-season friendlies and the upcoming Serie A season are out now.
