Karim Benzema, Chelsea's nightmare: 6 goals in 5 matches

Chelsea's great threat in recent years in the Champions League has been Karim Benzema. The Real Madrid striker loves scoring goals against the English side and has scored just six in five games in the European competition.
His first time was on 27th April 2021, in the first leg of the semi-final, where he scored his first goal against the Blues in a 1-1 draw. In the return leg in London, the home side won 2-0 in a game in which Benzema did not feature before the Blues were crowned Champions League winners against City.
His best performance came in the first leg of last year's quarter-final, when he scored a hat trick at Stamford Bridge in a game that ended 1-3. Two first-half headers and a mistake by Mendy at the start of the second half led to the Frenchman's hat-trick.
In the second leg, the '9' struck in extra time to send the team into the semi-finals with another header from a Vinicius pass. The sixth came on Wednesday at the Bernabeu to open the scoring before Asensio made it 2-0.
