Kessie trains at home alone after not playing against Villarreal

Franck Kessie is one of Barcelona's main signings, but he has not been playing regularly since his arrival. He arrived after leaving AC Milan to bolster the midfield. However, Pedri, Gavi, Frenkie de Jong and Sergio Busquets seem the main men in midfield, but the Ivorian has not thrown in the towel.
According to 'Sport', he is so committed that, after not playing a single minute in the La Liga clash against Villarreal, he trained at home on his own until after 23:00 CEST. He is very keen to enjoy opportunities as soon as possible although he has not set a time frame on his return: he is sure that his moment will arrive.
Something similar occurs with other footballers in the squad who are not shining a great deal on the pitch, especially youngsters such as Pablo Torre. Xavi Hernandez, in his most recent press conference, warned that the whole squad are going to play quite a lot this season because of the packed fixture schedule and the intensity his game demands.
Kessie has started just three of 10 matches, but, as the Copa del Rey begins and the season progresses, he is likely to get much more game time. He knows this situation about his time at AC Milan very well, where it was strange to see him start matches on the bench.
